INTERNATIONAL HOTEL & TOURISM MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Career opportunity in the HOTEL, MOTEL, TOURISM and RESTAURANT industries are nearly unlimited. Young people with good training in this field can expect to find out interesting jobs in the most parts of the world, but the most challenging and good paid work in middle and upper management usually goes to those who have not only practical training but also the right academic qualification in management.

International Hotel & Tourism Management gives the student practical HOTEL, MOTEL, TOURISM & RESTAURANT management training leading to an Associate of Business Administration (ABA) Certificate Course and Diploma Course. Advanced course in International Hotel and Tourism management leading to the BBA, MBA graduate and Master degree level. Young people those are interested to go abroad for jobs or higher studies and also looking for the full time/part time job in HOTEL, MOTEL, RESTAURANT, COFFEE SHOP, BAR & TOURISM may asked for this opportunity from this course.

WIBT is offered International Hotel & Tourism Management program under the ABA schedule One Semester Certificate Course and Two Semester Diploma Course.

WHY STUDENTS MAY ASKED FOR THIS COURSE

Students those are intended to go abroad for higher studies may face acute problem of shortage of money. They sometimes fail to continue the study because of financial constraints. This study will help them in managing part-time jobs in HOTEL, MOTEL, TOURISM & RESTAURANT. There is a provision for the foreign students to work in HOTEL, MOTEL TOURISM & RESTAURANT industry for 20 hours in a week. So this course help to have a good source of earnings in abroad.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the training on International Standard Hotel, Motel, Tourism & Restaurant operation is to develop the basic skills to work in Accommodation, Food & Beverage services and Food Production services on completion of the training program. Participant should be able to-
a) Fully comprehend the process and function of Hotel, Motel, Tourism & Restaurant operation.
b) Acquire skills in techniques of efficiency in Modern Hotel, Motel, Restaurant, Tourism.

PARTICIPANT'S ABILITY

The target groups include the following participants
1) Young men and women who passed S.S.C./H.S.C. examination, can understand English and also speak and write English basically.
2) In-service personnel of Hotel, Motel, Tourism & Restaurants, Airlines and Tourism sectors are given extra priority for the enrollment who want to go abroad with the professionalize experienced work for better opportunity.

FACULTY & METHOD OF TRAINING

The program of training have been scheduled by the expert of UNDP/ ILO Training INTRODUCTOR and Associate member of the international HOTEL and RESTAURANT Association, NEW YORK, USA who has long teaching experience in professional Hotel Management both in country & in abroad will be followed. The program will be blend of Lectures, demonstration and practical participation of HOTEL & RESTAURANT services.

TUITION FEES

(Four months make a semester)

A. One Semester-Certificate Course
Admission Fee: TK. 5,000
Course Fee: TK. 2,500 (Per month)
Total amount for the completion of the program:
TK. 5,000 +TK.(2,500 x 4) = TK. 15,000
Initial payment for Admission:
Tk. (5,000 + 2,500) = Tk. 7,500

B. Two Semester-Diploma Course
Admission Fee: TK. 5,000
Course Fee: TK. 2,500 (Per month)
Total amount for the completion of the program:
TK. 5,000 +TK. (2,500 x 8) = TK. 25,000
Initial payment for Admission:
Tk (5,000 + 2,500) = Tk. 7,500
